Hey Hollister! There is so much happening here in San Benito County this month. We wanted to point out a few events planned in our community (there is an event for every age!).

Grillin & Chillin Alehouse - 401 McCray Street, Suite B24
May the Force be with you as you paint this adorable Baby Yoda. Let artist Joel Esqueda lead you in painting everyone’s favorite green guy.
You can add you own background in any color or even add a phrase such as “Happy V-day!”
All ages are welcomed.
Schedule as follows:
6pm: Arrival/ check-in
During this time, you and your friends may enjoy nice food, and choose from the selection of 40 beers on tap.
The Alehouse also has a selection of wine or cider on Tap for those who crave something different.
7pm: Painting begins
An artist will guide you step by step to complete your masterpiece.
Personal touches are encouraged as you unwind and express yourself through paint.

The San Benito County Office of Education is hosting the annual Spelling Bee Competition for Grades 4th – 6th. Come out and support the local Spelling Bee contestants.

Enjoy a fun Valentine’s Day celebration at the San Benito County Free Library with your toddler.

Mars Hill Coffeehouse
All ages are welcomed to create this hearts-themed Valentine’s painting. 11″ x 14″ (kids) canvas are used in this event. Parents are welcomed to sit &paint with their child making this a perfect Mommy/Daddy and Me event.
Only $20 per ticket, includes a cookie and all materials.
Start your Saturday off right with this quick kids’-craft, downtown Hollister.

Come and guess who you think will win an Oscar. You will be given a chance to guess on the major awards for raffle prizes. There will also be a $50.00 gift certificate for the best dressed male and female.
THE TWIST on your outfit, will be the best dressed sweats and tennis shoes. No spike heels or fancy dresses. You will model your outfits on our red carpet runway. The crowd will judge. Feel free to be-jewel and be-dazzle. Dressing up is optional, however please dress warm. $25.00 ticket price includes 1 drink ticket, hors d’oeuvres , dinner and prizes. This is an over 21 event. Ticket price after January 20th will be $30.00. During the Winter season we limit our tickets to 25 people. Live music weather permitting.

The GardenShoppe
All your supplies will be provided for you to create your own unique container. The $35.00 fee includes an 8″ ceramic bowl, broken pottery, 7 succulent plugs, sand and rocks. You will be able to upgrade on site to add plants, add accessories or change the bowl. This class will take about an hour, you can drop in between 12-3. Class size is limited to 10.

The San Benito Chamber of Commerce and Richland Communities presents the 99th annual awards dinner dance. The event will take place in the barrel room of Leal Vineyards on February 22, 2020, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
